Christmas Raffle raises over £28,000 for Breast Cancer Unit campaign

Thanks to generous support the 2014 Christmas Raffle has raised over £28,000 for the Breast Cancer Unit campaign.

We were delighted to tell Valerie Evill from Gillingham that she was the proud new owner of a brand new Kia Picanto, supplied by FJ Chalke of Mere. 2nd prize of £500 went to Mr John Nash of Salisbury and 3rd prize £250 went to Mrs Jean Gregg of Devizes. Other winners will enjoy cash prizes of £50. You can download a list of winning ticket numbers here and we have notified all winners.

Funds raised by the raffle will go towards the Breast Cancer Unit campaign target of £750,000, to provide a dedicated Breast Cancer Unit at Salisbury Hospital. You can find out more about the campaign and watch our short film here.

It’s wonderful that so many people felt able to support their local hospital over Christmas. We’d like to thank everyone for their support, which will make a very big difference for the 4,500 local patients that the Breast Team at the hospital sees each year.
