The date for the fourth annual Tidworth 10k will be announced soon on the Stars Appeal website. This years event will feature an improved fun run along with the 10k route. Full details coming soon about this sell out run! so get your running shoes at the ready and take part in this event. Remember, this run gets bigger each year and sells out so make sure you register in plenty of time.

Salisbury Beerex Beer Festival, Friday 27th June-Saturday 28th June at Salisbury Arts Centre.
Beerex is back for the 28th year with its usual mix of music, merriment and a selection of the finest real ales and ciders. Over 40 beers will be available at each session, and your first two half pints are free.
Booking opens in person at Salisbury Arts Centre on Saturday 5 April and by phone 01722 321744 from Tuesday 8 April.
Table Sale, Saturday 28th June, 11.00am-4.00pm at Southern Counties Auctioneers, Salisbury.
The Wessex Stoma support group are holding a table sale full of goodies such as books, glassware, plants and china. Pop along for some great bargains.

East Grimstead Fete & Flower Show, Saturday 2nd August, 2.30pm at White House Farm Paddock.
A traditional family day out with a coconut shy, sponge throwing, wheelbarrow race, scarecrow contest, flower show and much much more. Entry is only 50p for adults and free for children.
Hog Roast, Sunday 10th August, 12 noon at Willow Lodge, Laverstock
Fun for everyone with pig racing, tombola, croquet and a bar. Tickets available at £13.50 each from Mrs Anne Salmon 01980 594380. This event is in aid of the Pembroke Unit.
Berwick St John Country Fayre, 13th & 14th September at 10.00am.
The Stars Appeal is delighted to have been selected to benefit from the 2008 Berwick St John Country Fayre. The Fayre can best be described as a celebration of country life as it used to be, including steam engines, vintage tractors, working exhibits (threshing, steam saw bench, steam ploughing) and local rural craft demonstrations. There will also be some fantastic performers in the marquee. Free entry.
