Tidworth 10k & 3k date announced

Tidworth 10k & 3k date announcedSunday November 1st is the date for this years Tidworth 10k & 3k Fun Run/Walk/Toddle. Last year 1000 people got their running shoes on and took part to support the Stars Appeal bringing the total raised from the event since in started in 2005 to nearly £100,000! Both runs will once again start at the Beautiful Tedworth House, with the 10k taking in the army camp itself before heading off on to Salisbury Plain.

If you feel the 10k is too much then join the fun runners in the 3k which follows a much less challenging, fun route around the Tidworth polo grounds and is suitable for all to run, walk or toddle! Pushchairs are welcome too so you can get the whole family involved.

For more information about the event, please click here or contact the Appeal office on 01722 429005.

Walk for Wards

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Walk for Wards. It was a fantastic day with initial estimates suggesting we could raise up to £50,000! This will make it our most successful event ever so well done and thank you to you all.

The walk was officially started by Dr Scott-Jupp, consultant paediatrician at the hospital, 12 year old Ellie Moulding, who made a short speech about how grateful she is to the hospital for looking after her when she had a severe asthma attack and regular patients to the children's unit William Edkins and Lauren Morgan

Walkers had a choice of a 3 or 10k route taking in parts of the Estate normally closed to the public and were all welcomed back at the finish line by the Stars Appeal bears!
