The sun shone for the third annual Walk for Wards, where a record 600 people took part and raised an amazing £35,000 for various projects around the hospital. Many walkers were raising money for our new Caring 4 Kids campaign. Zachary Reed who regularly attends the hospital for treatment and will be one of the 6,000 children who will benefit from the new children’s centre, started the walk. Click here to see the pictures
The beginning of June saw over 5000 people enjoy Appeal President, Lord Pembroke’s home at Wilton House as he hosted a family fun day to officially launch the Caring 4 Kids campaign.
The crowds enjoyed a host of family fun including a duck race, traditional games, pony rides, a miniature steam train and vintage bus trips. E Minor and the Ticklish Allsorts also provided some great entertainment. Click here to see the pictures
Shots from across southern England flocked to Wilton House in May for the inaugural Wilton House Charity Clay Shoot hosted by Lord Pembroke.
Guests enjoyed a sporting shoot over 10 stands, a four man flush and a special Stars Appeal Pool Stand all set in the beautiful grounds of the House. Shooting was followed by a champagne reception, lunch and auction hosted by appeal patron Johnnie Walker.
The event was sponsored by Thames River, Artemis, New Star and supported by Ottons Landrover and raised a phenomenal £38,000. Click here to see the pictures

Over 160 people enjoyed a glittering evening at Wilton House to celebrate the launch of the Stars Appeal on Friday February 2nd. Guests filled the magnificent Double Cube Room to hear speeches from staff involved with the Little Lives and Keyhole Cancer Campaigns, Appeal President Lord Pembroke, Hospital Chairman Luke March and Patron and BBC Radio 2 DJ Johnnie Walker. Appeal Patrons and stars of Channel 4s Green Wing Julian Rhind-Tutt and Stephen Mangan dropped into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on Tues 6th February to see how the Stars Appeal Little Lives Campaign will make a difference to the hundreds of babies that are treated there. Julian and Stephen then met staff and spent time posing for photos and signing autographs. View the photos
